firearms certificate how long does it take?

hi all ive sent off my fac a few weeks back for an under and
over and a .22 springer i was looking to know how long it takes
roughly? also i live on a farm and already have the cabinet
bolted to the wall. thanks in advance

How longs a piece of string?
Seriously though they have got there act together so anything
from about a few weeks to a month or two.
The wait is a killer though.

They will come out for a wee chat, only 10 mins to check
security of the house and cabinet, and go through your
application. Nothing to worry about, as long as you have the
land, A reason for the firearms, A Need not want!! your not
mental, and not prone to boughts of violence you will be fine.
It is like being a kid waiting for xmas though.

mine came through in less than a fortnight a few months ago.

I posted mine about 4 weeks ago, and fao was out about two weeks
ago for my we chat, he was a nice lad and I'm hoping to hear
back ASAP, best off luck for the both of us lol

It took mine around 3 months from I posted my form now I ave
just sent in for a shot gun 2 b added 2 mine and I can't wait
either and with them being off 4 holidays ave 2 wait longer tat
is Armagh area I am in
