ive lamped a brave few foxes over the years with dogs and to be
honest if there going to come they,l come, dosn,t mater wot
caller ur using. 1 will work 1 nite and next nite it makes them
shit themselfs. i was never really bothered about shooting them
as i enjoyed working dogs (and might get myself hung 4 that) but
sure wtf. my trouble was i could never get them in the 30/40 yrd
mark, always just outside it and in small fields waste of
time.anyway learn to squeak through ur hand. save urself a
       fortune ;)

I have a variety of callers.
I've got the U-Caller which is electronic.
I have about 7 or 8 different mouth callers, and two squeakers
too. One of the best I have found has been the "best UK fox
caller" a long flat piece of black plastic each side, with a
reed sandwiched in between. The widgeon caller also works quite
well, as does the mouse squeaker.
What I have yet to try (although supposed to be excellent) is a
piece of polystyrene rubbed onto a glass surface, which people
have also used for ages and gives a good effect.
Been thinking of getting one of those American Lpha Dogg
callers, 3 x 25 watt, which gives three directions, a wide
choice of downloadable sounds (and upto 1,000 or more stored at
any one time) and also allows the playing of two sounds at once.
Very expensive though, looking at about £200-£250.00 getting it
here, and then import duty and tax too

i use that, used it for a couple of years now and works ok, back
of the hands works too. biggest problem with foxes is being
lampshy, i always use a red filter on the lamp, seems to work
well and doesnt mess up your night vision lol

I have used a foxpro electronic caller and it has worked twice.
I have got the wam, the best fox call, the ultimate fox call,
the widgeon whistle and the tenterfield. 7 times out of 10 the
fox will just sit and look at you for a while then just f$%@k
off the other times it will just leg it. Very strange creatures
are foxes but I love it getting out on the ground hunting the
       buggers.
