With luck it should be, mine only took a week or two, best think
to do Is phone them and pick your license up at the station is
quicker than the post:

How comes I'm the only muppett that has to wait months on an
addition.
My last one went in at easter & I got it in July hols!!!
Yea you are still able to buy stuff for your other guns. The
letter they send out to say they received your application
covers you.

When I added an hmr to my FAC about 18 months ago, it came back
approved in 5 days.... and that was my first rimfire.
It seems to be a bit of a lottery at the minute, but most
people's seem to be taking a couple of weeks.

I got my variation in April for .222 back within 3 weeks, then
put in for a 17 hmr in Aug and got it back in 5 days
