Could anyone recommend any RFDs that carry a good stock of
reloading equipment and components?

Mervyn Young (Young Guns) Castledawson. Good range of equipment
and knowledgeable. He'll be able to offer you some good advice
on what to go for.

South of the lough would be Tannyoky in poyntzpass, NITSA near
newry and McKerrs in lurgan.

was it one for reloading cartridges or riffle ammo? I am going
to start making my own cartridges next year

It belonged to my da as far as i know it was only for rifle
though there were a shitload of attachments for it for diff
types of ammo
