Any tips for fao coming out

Just had a phone call from a police officer, he is coming out on
Tuesday for a talk about my fac, so any tips or help would be
very grateful

your FAO is not a police officer, make him or her a cup of tea
and make sure your gun cabinet is correctly secured

That doesnt sound very promising. I could be wrong. My FEO
only came out to me to inspect my cabinet. What sort of gun
are you applying for??

My FAO was going to do 2 visits also, I made sure I had cabinet
bolted to wall before the first visit..He never needed to call
for the second visit....I took the risk off buying a cabinet
before I was approved but it did speed things up :)

I'm going for a .22lr was going to risk it myself and buy the
safe tomorrow for him coming out, all he said was he was calling
regarding me applying for my fac, I was the one that said about
not having a safe and he said he understood but wanted to call
out for a chat

Do you think it's the time when he tells me yes or no already as
I only posted it last week lol and if I do get a yes when can I
go and bring the rifle home I have the cash burning away in my
sock drawer lol

My first feo was an actual police officer, arrived at the house
in full uniform in the jeep once, ex girlfriend looked at me and
said what the fuck have you been caught doing lol
Only advice I can give re feo's is to be nice and polite but
stay switched on. They're mostly dead on but dont forget they
are there to do a job. I've had one or two in the past asking
leading questions and trying to catch me out saying something
stupid without thinking.

Thanks lads as I said just going to go tomorrow and see about a
safe for him coming out, just to speed things up, as I haven't
put a deposit down on a rifle as I only have a letter with the
intent to buy if approved, just want to speed things along as
fast as possible, and I hope this hobbie isn't as bad as my
lizards/monitors as you tend to start of small and then before
your wife knows it there is a 6ft lizard in the spare room lol
