Shooting in the south of Ireland.

Hi there just looking some information about shooting in the
south of Ireland. What do I need to allow me to shoot down
south, I currently have some permission, what else do I need?
Anyone shoot in the south that could help?

its pretty much the same as here you will need land owners and
also apply for a firearms certificate

Think you have to apply to local Garda station as well

You need to get a European form added on to your licence . You
can down load it off the psni website and apply to local Garuda
station ... I looked into it as my family own a 100 acre farm
down there which has been turned over to a forest .. Keep
meaning to get down and see what it's like

I have the European firearms pass, and the land in the south
just need a few things clarified , payment and what forms I need
etc.

Then I think you just need to get in touch with local Garda .. I
think you pay them and that's it sorted I think

You apply to superintendent in the area you are shooting in and
he will approve it or Nat lol

A balaclava, a fast car and an alibi :o lol
As far a I know it's simplest just to get a fac issued by the
local Garda in roi, I know alot of people used to think the
European pass covered them down south but it doesn't. In fact
I'm still trying to work out what the pass was for, havnt
updated mine in 4 years, still think I've two shotguns and a 22
on it lol
