Just wonderin what you lot think as to wether there is any
difference between 26" and 28" barrells in terms of velocity and
       accuracy etc

There won't be any difference in either however you might just
find the longer barrel a bit better (or worse) for pointing and
       swinging.

There's no difference between 28 and 26 with regard to
ballistics. A 28 inch barrel gets you 2 inches closer to the
       bird or clay.

Dont think it makes any noticable difference. Whatever you
prefer/fits you well/makes you confident! I used to have a
spanish english game style sxs 26" barrells, bored 1/4 & full.
Shot plenty geese & foxes as well as quarry it was designed for.
I believed I couldnt miss with it. After a few years I started
to miss, lost confidence and sold it!! Fukin stock mustve
       changed shape or somethin!!! :P
