Old Romantic

It was Christmas eve and a married couple were doing their last
minute Christmas shooting, when the husband disappeared into the
crowd of shoppers. After half an hour, she started to get
worried, so she phoned him....... "Where are you she asked?"
In a calm voice he replied.............. "Darling, remember the
jewellery shop we went into 5 years ago today, and you fell in
love with that beautiful diamond necklace that I couldn't
afford, and I told you that one day I told you that I'd buy it
for you?"
With her eyes filling with tears,she said "Yes,I remember."
"Well I'm in the pub next door to that."
