Anybody use them? What they think? Was maybe thinking about
getting one, love the labs but I used to shoot with a man that
had one and worked nicely alongside the lab.

there a smashing wee dog dan thought bot getting 1 myself but
decided on the springers, I couldn't see that they were any
better than springers and I like the rashness of a springer
thrashing cover. they can be a little tempermental

My uncle has always been a springer man he currently has four!
He got a lemon cocker last year and he says he wont be gettin
another springer in a hurry. Ive seen it working and have to
say theyre very alert and very stylish dogs though in my opinion
not as hardy as springers

Here,s the difference a springer hunts thru all the cover even
when there is nothing there, the cocker on the other hand goes
up to the cover sniffs and only hunts when something IS
there.........as for being small nothing I've ever shot has been
left behind, loves the flight pond been known to wrestle wounded
cock pheasant and puts, all the springers to shame when were
looking woodcock........and fantastic little house
dogs….........
