It was ritous behaviour, too much drink and not enough brains.
Ivor in field snd stream seems to think itll be ok as it was 13
years ago but im still not so sure.

If it was only once and 13 years ago should be ok-would be
different if had been a few times or of you were constantly
       fighting with one person!

Well Ivor isn't the governing body so whatever he told you is
just an opinion probably based on his desire to make you part
with your hard earned. 13 years is a lot of time so it may go in
your favour, but riotous behaviour is not a good thing to have
on your record. Be honest in your application and make sure to
put everything down. The worst they can do is say no.

All applications and applicants are taken under individual
condideration, for example if i get refused for ABH, you may be
ok in the same circumstances, that's according to a FEO i know.
The warning flags go up if you've been done for Firearms /
explosive offences, terrorist and prescribed organisation
related offences, any violent offence and lastly any offence
       involving intimidation on an individual.
Any offence against a member of the security forces is also a
red flag. I'm not saying you won't get it mate, but if you have
some good references from respected individuals, these can help.

I would guess you will be ok but might slow it down a bit!! Refs
would prob be better from police officers or
       Ministers or something like that!!

Police officers cannot act as referees for firearms certificates
even if it's only a verbal character reference.
