Assuming you were definite it was shot and not road kill...
If it was shot them I agree it should have been disposed of
       properly...
I guess you did the right thing then and removed the carcass...?

to me this is the checks the fao's should be doing instead of
giving every tom dick an harry a gun. it annoys the shite clean
       out of me that

Brendy if you got it on the road it could of been shot there
f@ck thats dangerous shooting with cars and a chance of people
walking was it a rifle hole or shotgun wound m8

same round my way piles of clowns lamping with rifles who shud
never have a shotgun never mind a rifle , everyone goes on about
lurchermen getting them kicked off land etc well round my way
ive lost more permission over the years threw the actions of
riflemen from shooting lambs, badgers, goats a shetland pony and
even a bull :o how the fuck they mistake a bull for a fox is
beyond me most riflemen i know are 100% and do a good job its
every tom dick and harry who have been handed a rifle are the
boys who are at this carry on , my mate went out with a young
lad a few weeks ago who has just been giving a. 222 for a 1st
time application they drove about all night looking for foxes
but seen nothing so on the last field before they called it a
night the young lad said fuck it havent fired a shot all night
and decided to shoot sumthing he sudnt of shot >:( needless to
say that was the last time my mate went out with him

Same with me-know a fella who ended up with his we girls pet
donkey shot!! The problem around here is farmers are putting
shooters of ground now! As was said any dick or Harry can now
get a larger cal for their first rifle so they are going out and
shooting foxes to which the result is you never see a fox around
my part! Was telling dc last week I work in fields late at night
and out of a few thousand acres I work on there is only 1 field
that I will see a fox in!
The problem farmers now have us they are ate out with rabbits
and if there is a chance of you shooting a fox your
Not welcome. The new shooters need to realise that you are there
to control the wildlife not eradicate it and what you do to one
species has a knock on effect!!
Sa contacted me a few months ago looking ground to get a fox cal
on his fac and even when he was offering to pay for ground I
couldn't get him any-dc was looking ferreting ground and got him
       sorted within a day-says a lot I thought!!

Some guy approached me on saturday morning saying he was given
permission to go after foxes by a window cleaner. The window
cleaner didn't own the land so had no right to give permission.
I told the guy the score and even recommended some other land
where I had permission. If I had have arrived on my permission
after they were on it it may have been a different story.
       Probably someone off here
