       Shotgun cartridge reloading

Does any one load their own 12bore cartridges and if so is it
       worth while?

i always like the idea of it, but by the time you buy the
primers powder wad and lead and lead is fecking expensive, i
wouldnt think it would be worth you while, but depends how much
       you shoot i suppose,

I looked into this some time ago. Visited a chap who reloads all
his own and he showed me th basics. I bought a press and some
bits and pieces. I sourced some lead and started to make my own
shot dripper. This is where the savings are at. I started saving
all my old cases but never got round to reloading yet. You will
not save any money loading standard clay shells and very little
on game shells unless you make your own shot. Are limited this
country by the fact that there are very few who stock shotgun
reloading materials so they tend to be more expensive tha in the
uk. There are good savings to be made on specialist shells and
you can produce shells that are not available to buy locally.

What if a few got together eg buying shot etc in bigger
quantities and 1 or two reload and the shells distributed
       amongst the group.
       Would this keep costs down?

Unless quantities are huge I doubt it would be any cheaper. The
real saving is in the shot. I could be wrong but i think you can
buy early cheap from Italy and have the items delivered straight
       to your door.
