Hunting/Lamping 21st December

Hi Guys,
I'm making a documentary about Northern Ireland at night and the
various things that happen during the hours of darkness when
others are tucked up in bed. I just wanted some info on whether
any hunting / lamping would happen on the night of 21st
December? Would be keen to chat with some of you to find out
more.

I couldn't tell you if will be out on the 21st of November never
mind December! Lol but as sharpshooter says could make a point
of going out or better still a few of us could go together.
What sort of lamping is it you want to see? Just out of interest
as well what sort of spin will be put on hunting?

introduce yourself to the members as people need to know who's
actually askin questions yours ? who are you making the
documentary for and who will see it and when & why is the 21st
of Dec relevant ?

Thanks for the replies, and yes I guess it is a bit away to be
knowing exactly what you would be doing. From my point of view
it's good to know that these things would be happening anyway.
A little about me and the project.
I'm Des and I'm a filmmaker with an independent company called
Alleycats. Check out www.alleycats.tv for some more info on us
and what we do.
The documentary I'm making at the minute is a portrait of
Northern Ireland at night (from sundown to sunup) - December
21st is the longest night of the year so it's a good night to
look at nocturnal activities. We'll be filming with lots of
different people doing all sorts of different things all through
that night. It will go out on BBCNI in December next year.
There's no angle here, I'm not setting out to make any
particular point about hunting. I just think it would be very
visual and might make a good story if we got the right
characters to follow on a night. It's not something we see very
much of.
If any of you are interested in chatting some more let me know.

WELL that's me out then. lol. couldn't have anyone following me
at night ::). im sure some of the boys will be willing to help
ya out but bare in mind if you go over that hill you might never
get back lol. good luck!!!
