this morning

on the lough this morning myself and the cousin, the wee dog
worked her socks off,after we packed up we went after snipe and
woodcock.... poor we only put 1 snipe up out of the bog...
however was my first ever shoveler so well pleased

Cheers Brendy that was the first wild shoveler I have ever seen
so well chuffed,trying to complete all duck species ducks and
drakes so I've few left to mark off the list

Cheers lads, dc we walked 3 fields that usually hold a few snipe
and not 1 did we put up!!! While we where packing up a whisp of
about 20 odd went over us, I'm guessing migrant birds, I'm
hoping next week will be better I prefer walked up shooting.

dono about you lads but I think there's a lot of snipe about
this year, there's about two dozen on one of my fields and at
night waitin on the fly i'd say there's 30/40 fly in like
missiles
