inside and out. also im wanting to find out if cci stingers can
be fired through it or will they damage it in anyway. thanks

thats madness. obviously its been very very well looked after we
rifle. what year is yours from m8? would the stingers damage
them if used constantly being quite high powered. also would you
use them with or without the moderator. cheers.

Think mines is 02 but has seen a bit of abuse cosmetically but
still fires 100%! Stingers shouldn't damage as long as they
cycle ok and the only way to find that out is try them!
There's no big point in using the mod with hv rounds as it
doesn't quiet them although if you remove the mod it will affect
the zero but changing rounds will affect that anyways!

Jimbo my BRNO Mkll is from 1968 bought new by my Dad - yes if
they are not overly abused they can be that old and still look
good. I have used HV in the past inc cci (have some left) but
use either eley subs or winchester subs almost exclusively now.
Would only buy another brand if stuck.Lapua subs ok too.
Must check the CZ .17HMR to see if there is a date on it.

Cheers for the replies lads. Salar thats mad. I thought my
rifle was old lol. The only reason im considering h.v rounds is
for foxes. Im going to put in for a proper fox rifle after
Christmas. But just for now im going to try the h.v rounds.
Ive seen excellent reviews on the cci velocitors. Being 40 grain
and travelling 1435 fps im wondering would they be a better
choice than the lighter cci stinger round for foxes.?

I've never used either so can't advise you on them!!
