Ive just acquired my first shotgun and I am looking for some
information on areas on which I can shoot without permission
from any land owners or clubs. I have heard that the foreshore
below the highwater mark is open to anyone with shotgun and
liscence. Any info would be appreciated.

There might be something to that. I was told years ago that the
foreshore belonged to the Queen.

As long as you've permission to use the land to access then
there should be no probs.

most of that shore is all club owned is it not

I'm not sure anyone has control of land below the highwater
mark.

not sure but on strangford we are issued with shooting permits
for foreshore and I shoot lough neagh in which shaftbury estates
own the shooting rights below the high water mark and landowner
owns above.
