FAC approved! but not getting it.

Yayyy its been approved in principle! But not my address cause
of my wee bro the fucking knob. Posies a threat or some . I
always thought it would be a prob.
She said going forward... I have to get a mate that I know with
a gun to send off a variation for my gun? And be kept at
there's?
Or get someone to apply for a licence and it would be kept at
there's?
What if I was to move house? Would that be easier? And then its
my gun?
Aaaaa duno WA to do. Don't think I know anyone th at will want
another safe in the house.

that's a load of shit in my opinion ! it's feck all to do with
your brother - he will not have access to your gun or cabinet
ffs I can't even let my wife know where my keys are so If I
kicked the bucket they'd have to burn the doors of my safe to
get to my guns. I would be takein advice from the BASC or SACS
asap if it were me !

they will say as your brother lives there he can spend all day
in the house useing what ever means to break in and steal your
guns , after i was revoked my wife applied and was told the same
as u the address was not suitable cos of your husband ie me ::)

I'd be interested to know how you get on too. I am in same boat
having to store mine elsewhere. Tried to argue decision at the
time of granting license but PSNI insisted no right of appeal.
Cited some blood case in England from 1991.
I reasoned that they'd HAVE to mention some appeal mechanism
which BASC would probably use as their workaround, therefore no
point as it can't exist...right?
I know other folk had previously mentioned knowing the right
people ie MPs or MLAs but I don't know any of them feckers

i know someone this exact thing happend to. had to put the
cabinet in a relatives house

Just off the phone to sacs and they said the same.
Step one, get the cabinet installed in someone elses house (that
holds an fac) no variation required.
Step 2, get a mate to send a variation and him hold the gun in
his cabinet (im not allowed keys)
Step 3, move house..... Seriously considering moving out with
older brothers.
Pile of cackkkkkkk. Just not straight forward.

Nah, seriously tho, assuming your bro' has a previous...?? What
for (or maybe you don't wanna say?)
I reckon get your own place is the easiest... ;o) Failing that
an suitable relative is probably the next best thing...
Friends, well what if you fall out...? He's your gun on his
ticket, what proof do you have that you own it...?
Can't even imagine owning a gun and not being able to access it
when I wanted...
