Ruger American Compact .22LR...?

Anyone got one/seen one/know anything about them...?
I'm looking a cheapish & short .22LR rifle (a short long rifle,
that's kinda ironic?)
Anyone know if anyone stocks them, or how much they retail
for...?

If it is i posted about them recently but havnt heard of them
hitting the uk yet, be interested in having one for bench rest
shooting (if they're as good as made out to be)

Email ruger directly and see when they'll be sending them this
way, though I'd say you're talking early next year. Personally
I'd leave it til the end of next year, I know they're rugers but
I always give a new product a year or two so they can solve any
problems that might show up, but that's just me

It'll be interesting to see the UK price if and when it gets
here - something tells me it'll not be at the bargain price
available in the States.

I bought my 16" CZ452 HMR new for £400 a few months ago from
Elite Guns in Newry, could have had the CZ455 thumbhole new for
£450 but didn't like the feel of it and have always preferred
the 452 range - where did you see them at £500?

I have seen them advertised at £525, which is way too high. Not
sure if Elite Guns have the largest stock around, but they are
good to deal with. The CZ452 American is a great wee gun, I
have this model in .22lr and HMR and they are far more accurate
than I will ever be.
