what way does these auctions work, do you know? I assume these
are only guide prices and they could fetch a lot more. Some
beautiful hammer guns there.

A lot of those firearms are sold. The price they sold for is
below the gun over to the right. I have bought guns from
auctions before and it's a fairly straight forward process. Send
them your bid form with maximum bid and they do the work. If you
win they ring you. The only problem is that you don't know what
you are getting unless you go for a look first.

You can register online and they email you about upcoming
auctions. You can leave a bid online also and they will inform
you by email if you win it. A few things though. They have 2
auctions.....one is a Sealed Bid auction the other is a regular
auction. It's a great site for shooters and I know a few guys
who go over to handle the goods but I bought by leaving a bid on
a rifle, Sealed Bid, and just trusted the photo and a phone call
to them. I got a rifle for £115.00 that local dealers were
quoting £800.00 on. I shit you not. The little price shown can
rise alarmingly but usually it's pretty good. THEN you have to
get it here. That can cost £60 to £90. But it's a great find and
I'm sure local RFD,s dislike it. Makes them look bad.
