they used to be Very good years ago but I honestly don't know
about modern ones but I would say they would still be ok, the
main thing is do you like it -- does it fit you - do you think
you can shoot with it as it is, lets know what you do about it

You should have a look a lovely single barrel Harrington and
Richards, or a Midland hammer gun or a Cooey....... ::) They
knew how to make guns in those days!

Enjoy your Franchi shotgun Adrian. One shot may be all you will
get out of that load of scrap before they give up the ghost But
I am sure they were once wonderful when they were new. A friend
had a Franchi SPAS not sure of the model but it had a folding
stock and looked like an Arnie machine. He called it has
backdoor special - I often wondered if he was gay. I heard
somewhere that these paramilitary type Franchis are prohibited
for civilian use but are only allowed for 'special' purposes.

Did it double up as an alley clearer? For peelers or ule do
       rightlys?
Know a lot of men who had them for poking out the back door or
bedroom when an ASU came calling. I Even fired one on
full/semi auto, (or was that allegedly fired one) ???
Absolutely no control or chance of hitting the clay, BUT they
did look like the dogs b's...............
Carry one round the fields for a shot and you,ll be wrecked,
take it to a clay ground and you,ll get alaugh (I think).
So go on, show us a pic of it!

Before you consider buying it, would you even get a licence for
it, I'm assuming its not restricted?
