Due to work computers being down you lucky lot are being graced
with my presence far more than usual today, and so I'm treating
you to my newest madcap scheme ;D
Getting into (my) foxing season and my .222 is still away being
duracoated, and won't be back for at least 3 weeks (best case
scenario). I'm not a fan of 17hmrs for foxes, just personal
experience, so had my thinking cap on this weekend, and...

I'm really starting to love this hatsan, not for the looks but
the flexibility, I've never had a gun that can be used for so
many things lol anyway I reckon full choke and bb shells should
(I hope) give me a range of up to 60 yards; only reason I'm
saying that is with full choke in one of my old mossbergs I
could knock crows down at 70 yards (anything under 20 was a miss
tho ::) ) but ill be testing the set up and effective range out
first. That's a cheap 3-9 zos scope on it, it should hold up to
a few shots, or long enough til I get my .222 back. Just need to
put a new recoil pad on it as the rubber pad that comes on the
gun is a bit hard if I'm being nice (and is complete shite if
I'm not being nice). Be interesting to see what happens!

that? was thinking of getting a shorter barrel for mine

Ehhh honestly not sure, I think it's 24" but I'd need to double
check later with a tape measure :-[
Have to admit tho it was I only after readin this review I
started thinking about a scope, shotgun is usually only backup
to the rifle in my mind

Never got an idiot cut and im not intending to start now lol was
a bit of a pointless excercise as I got the .222 back a day or
two later ::) but how's how flexible shotguns can be
