looking to by bipod. whats the best harris or deben? & best
height for shooting prone & off roof or bonnet & is swivel &
tilt the way to go?

Harris every time. Swivel is also a must, as it allows you to
level the rifle on uneven surfaces. A non swivel model would
suit bench rest shooters whose swivel stud is dead centre on the
rifle stock. Seen a lot of them fitted off centre which means
you find yourself propping up one side of the bipod just to get
the rifle level. I find the 9-13" notched legs swivel Harris
bipod suitable for all my field and range use.
