Well I went out last night. In less than perfect conditions..
full moon.. clear skies.. however I had a great wee night. Ended
up with ten rabbits altogether. I could of shot many more put
didnt want to as id no room in the freezer and did not want to
just waste rabbits for the sake of it. I had one belter of a
shot at about 80 plus yards that I was very happy with . Here is
some pics.i didn't want to shoot the black rabbiy but it was in
the farmers garden and he wanted it removed lol

Seem to remember you saying you are using a Deben light Jimbo -
which one is it? Up to what range can you clearly see the
       rabbits?

       Nice bit of shooting Jimbo.
Went out last night but the fog came down too quick and couldnt
see a thing with light through the fog.

Beanie.. its a deben tracer 300. It claims to have a usable beam
of up to 230 metres. But ive only ever needed it up to 85 yards
(fields are small here) what I will say is it is super bright.
The battery lasts five hours on constant full beam. The red
filter lat night was lighing full rabbits up to 60 yards. Il
never have any need for a different light on a .22lr.
Cheers ozzy. It was the same here I started shooting about 9 and
the fog came down around 12 so I called it a night. That moon
last night was bright too loo.
