just thought id let ya's all see my effort for the weekend ended
up with 4 but truthfully I couldn't hit a barn door on Saturday,
missed a chance of a pintail ffs. 2 mallard came in and was
lining them up for shot bang first shot missed then had a
misfire so recocked it and missed again then what came from
behind me a pintail :-\ needless to say I wasn't a happy camper
:'(. at least I didn't come home empty handed lol and got to try
out my new game carrier, which im now making if any 1 fancies 1

Good man Brendy, well done indeed. Never have seen a pintail
myself. Game carrier looks good. I don't use them though as I
always end up covered in blood and feathers!

Looks like a good bag. Was up myself fired 2 shots and got a
teal and a mallard, mallard was about 65 yards out with a 36g 4
layvale express. To be honest ive been using remmington but have
a few cases express i need to shoot first. Saw loads of birds
but the wind just didnt suit, there was plenty of shooting at
the other side of the lough.

Ridiculous prices....i think the are close to £16 a box from
tannyoky. They are good cartridges i have them in 4's and 2's
american sizes (Uk 3's and B's). However ive been trying to use
up all the express that my dad had bought when non toxic was
introduced, still lots to go bought they have been performing
well. In the last few trips ive actually shot more duck than
shots fired with them ;D
