Its was a GOPRO Hero 1, i have the hero 2 now and much better,
and they have just introduced the hero 3, this is my next
purchase, i have to say a great piece off kit, either head
mounted or on a chest strap, i take it everywhere, you just
never know what will pop up.

Nice pen and good cover, obviously with so many poults it is not
practical to cover your pen, i was just wondering do you have
problems with raptors, and indeed corvids and other winged
vermin eating not only your birds but the feed that is supplied
to them, thanks?!

Yes indeed this is an issue, but we manage it well. We string up
lines off old cds within the pen structure, the wind blows them
and the sun makes them shine and flicker, especially in areas
where its more exposed than others, it keeps them out 99% off
the time, the odd one slips in somewhere, but not that often. I
think we lost maybe 6 or so poults to raptors within the cage
which was a very good result this year, and believe me there
were plenty about from sparrow hawks to the larger species.

Thats good to know, as i was always told the CD thing was an old
wives tale i shall have to give it a go next season, we had
terrible rook problem this year so we made a letter box trap and
must have dispatched nearly 150 by now, i would recommend one to
all shots!
