What do u mean?? Sure u must have a land own sign ur forms to
process the application , & so the Fao can check the land for
safety

Maybe I did, but I don't remember...
All I remember was filling in form for further grant, got two
referees and sent it off with proof from the FAC of calibre and
serial number and the appropriate fee...
All came back within a week or two.

The guy I got to sign for my .223 his land is beside the see
and his land is all about 30ş incline + rolling hill sides left
and right.
I have 19 different farms I have permission on, most of them
would cover .223 but the one stated above is by far the best.
when I was applying for my .17hmr the feo said they new the land
and it will cover any calibre I ask have u checked it before for
someone else? No was the answer żżżżżżżżżż

So my FAO phoned the day as she was to contact the other FAO who
looked at the land, to ask what cal they might allow me to go to
if any, he said I'd have to go look at land again as it was very
foggy when I seen it last time lol so how can he make a fair
decision on the land when he seen fuck all of it

Well still no word back from Fao regarding what cal they will or
will not allow me, so if decided I'm joining a club if I have to
coz I'm not loosing my 223 howa I fucking want it lol ill find
the correct land and get it passed some time in the mean time I
learn to shoot the 223 well at the range :D

Means you usually have to be a member for a year until you're
allowed to get a gun that you normally can't (or just for range
use), eg I joined a club over the summer and even tho I have
alot of experience I technically can't get a pistol or an
uncrimped shotgun for a year.
Now I was told that with my experience they could try to get
away without me having to do a 12 month probation period, tho it
was put to me that it was more a police decision than a club
decision, but I decided not to bother as I had the "kid in a
candy shop" feeling and would have seriously hammered the credit
card, so I'm taking my time to choose what I want. Also it does
look a bit strange if a new guy joins a club and gets a load of
toys right away, normally means they're police or military
(which I'm not before anyone thinks it), so to save people
getting the wrong idea with that was another reason I didn't
bother challenging it.
