Decided to try the ducks this morning as no chance at getting
out at the weekend. Great start to the morning with my first
teal of the season. A pair of teal crossing and I dropped them
both with one shot. 15 mins later a right and left out of a
small flock leaving me with 4 birds for 3 shots. Thought I'd
share was rather pleased with myself :)

Good job AM, and great story!
Did you find the wind was right for you this morning?
Where I shoot a north or north west wind is best ( Brendy can
keep me right about that)
Also did you go out on your own, I can only take about a dozen
decoys with me and am still not sure if that's enough.

Cheers guys. Generally most people agree a north westerly wind
is best for where we are however given the geography of the land
it does seem a bit odd to me, but it sticks. I was out on my own
today but my decoys are stored at the hide so dont have to carry
them. I only put out 20 (14 mallard and 6 teal) but did have a
mojo going. I think the easterly winds have brought some teal in
from the continent.

Not far from Oxford Island, dont seem to get as many ducks as
the rest of the people in the area. Last 2 trips have been
rather productive though.
