this is my howa .270 its topped with a bushnell yardage pro

Nice one mate, I'm in the process of applying for a Howa 1500 in
223 for foxing, just had interview the day with Fao so fingers
crossed wont be long

lads the scope is fantastic very clear, you zero the rifle at
100yards, then choose the turret that matches the cal. and
weight of bullet and put it on, then when your out shooting hit
the button on the stock the range will appear in yards so then
you just twist the turret to the range and its spot on, just you
windage you need to allow for... mate uses 1 on his .220 swift
and ive seen him shoot out to 400 yards at foxes with it, it
works takes all the guess work out.. SS it looks well in the
green stock

Nice one well ware lad. The green does look well. ;D
2 things though, why 270 cal & whats the strap over the barrel
for?

I went for the .270 for its a flat hard hitting round, a lot if
stalkers in Scotland use them, the yanks highly recommend them,
so that was good enough for me,
As for the strap that's for the scope, I press a button on the
scope press that and a digital range appears in the scope then I
twist the top turret to whatever it's reading and then squeeze
the trigger. It takes all the guess work out of range finding

I got the scope give to me, my mate paid 1500 euro for it, he
has no need for it at as he has only 1 rifle
