Practiced a bit there with the .22lr . Prone with beanbag at 45
yards. Five shots..Nice tight we group but need to adjust sights
to bring the rounds down a bit.

Nice shooting Jimbo, you getting the practice in for this
competition ;D
Not fired a round out of my gun yet after getting my FAC.
Hopefully break it in this weekend.

Snap they are fedral champion rounds mate.
525 rounds for 28 quid I think.

Are they the copper plated hollow points? If so that's pretty
impressive for a cheap HV round.

Yes mate they are indeed. Had a few bad ones. But this was the
best and last group of 5.

There a good enough round jimbo but no good for the mod! You
will need to clean the rifle and re zero for subs! If you are
looking subs I find Winchester the best but I'm sure others will
have different opinions!!

Based on someones recommendation on here I tried RWS hollow
point subsonics. Wouldn't even look at Winchester ammo again.
They were £49 for a brick of 500 from Tannyoky.

Stewarty do the hv rounds damage the mod? Ir not good as in it
doesnt quieten them

They shouldn't harm the mod it's more to do with the speed they
travel but try the without the mod and it will prob be no
different! The subs are why I like the lr and haven't went for a
.177 as they are virtually soundless!
It depends where you get them but subs should be around £5 per
50
