CZ lux 452

So after much thought I decided to put the extra cash to it and
buy a cz452 .22lr instead of the bsa. Got a call from firearms
today and certificate is ready...1 day it took!!! Lmao....... so
pick new rifle up on thursday :)

The 452 is a classic - I have it in .22lr and HMR - superbly
accurate and very well made. Both of mine are the American
model.

When did they first start making the cz 452. In other words how
old may it be?
360 quid sound ok for rifle. Scope. .Mounts and moderator?

360 should b a good package-mine was 290 but stock was rough!!
You'll not regret only fault with mine is the boy pullin the
trigger!!

They were discontinued in 2011, although my last one was stamped
2012. Not sure when they were first produced, but I know they
go back at least 5-6 years. They can still be had new [old
stock] although they will obviously be getting harder to get. I
had the choice between the standard barrel 452 16" American and
the heavy barrel 455 16" with thumbhole stock - went for the
former as the latter felt heavy in the hand and I really do not
like thumbhole stocks! I've had a couple of 452's in HMR and
have one in .22lr and am of the opinion that if they had a
better trigger from the factory, they would be as good as any
rimfire available at any price.

Let us know how you get on with it Jimbo, I am waiting on the
cert to come back so i can go and pick mine up, not as lucky as
yourself getting it straight back. Would be good to hear what
you think of it when you get out. Hopefully mine will be through
in the next week or so, fingers crossed.

I will do bsaozzy. Im hoping to get out with it on friday to get
it zeroed so I will let ya know on fri night m8. Beanieboy I
take it parts are still and always will be easy enough to get?
