       WMR Semi Auto

What's the chances of getting one of these when I already have
.22lr and HMR? Could I get it as a designated fox rifle?

no reason why not, comes down to arguing your case. im assuming
your 22lr is used in conjunction with a moderator and subsonic
rounds for shooting near livestock, horses, etc, so it doesnt
spook them, your hmr would be for longer range rabbits where
noise wouldnt be such an issue, and your wmr would be for foxes,
as we all know the hmr can be a bit light for foxes, especially
       the ballistic tips... ;)

Yeah I was thinking along those lines - my only concern was
whether the police here would see the WMR as a more suitable fox
       calibre than HMR.

No reason why they wouldn't, wmr has more weight behind it, I'm
sure you've seen firsthand how light a 17hmr can be on them ;)
also helps if you throw in lots on info re weight of round,
energy retention, trajectory, velocity, etc ;)

I would be happy with the WMR - in fact I would eventually like
to have all 4 rimfires currently available....if approved.

The .22 Hornet is a smashing wee round. Bit expensive though.
