went out yesterday evening on a new permission, it wasn't cut
yet so wasn't expecting too much. After the first few birds in
the bag i was pretty chuffed. Then to my disbelief a neighbour
of the farmer decided she didn't like me shooting so stood at
the gate way leading into the field and yelled and roared any
time a bird came anywhere near the field. She kept this up for
about an hour. I thought to myself this is a new permission I
don't want to piss off the farmers neighbours so i didn't take
any notice and just waited it out until she fucked off. as she
was walking past the hedge were i was she shouted in to me '' it
takes some big balls to shoot wee birds'' i didn't know either
to get really angry or piss myself laughing. well the rest of
the evening was shit because I felt like I shouldn't be there.
Anybody else ever have a similar situation??

I would have thanked her for the compliment. Why yes I am well
endowed in the ball area. Would you like to see? lol. Best thing
to do is contact police and tell them there's a nutjob on the
loose. Then report the woman lol

Sounds like a complete nut job.
Was probably on her way to KFC, it's ok to eat them as long as
you don't see them killed.

why not go see the farmer tell him the crack , i once was
shooting a clump of fir trees when this old fecker appeared and
started ranting a raving he said if i didnt go home now he would
ring the police and say i was gonna shoot him, i put the gun
away and said sorry even though i did nothing wrong i went
straight to the farmer who was mad he said that old cunt i know
what he is at and the farmer said jump into the jeep with me we
drove up to the clump of trees and there was the old cunt
sawing the trees down for firewood ;D the farmer let rip at him
and told him a few home truths and said never to come on his
land again , but as i say id go see the farmer cos next time the
neighbours cud ring the peelers and make up all sorts agaisnt
you and when a complaint is made agaisnt a FAC holder the
peelers will most likely back the person making the complaint
untill they sort it out and your guns most likely held till its
sorted

Flaming Nora! Sounds like another good reason to have a
permission in writing, though as others have said, Police will
likely take the complainants word over the shooters in any
situation.

If this is somewhere you intend shooting on a regular basis I
would inform the police and have the incident logged [they might
give you a reference number for future reference]. If this
woman turns up again and tries to to make false allegations
against you, you will at least have something previously
recorded that questions her rationality.

was so tempted to tell her to come around this side of the hedge
