WOO HOOOOOO IM CURED!!!

I think... well.... for the first time in 2 months im pain free
;D ;D ;D
went to the physio today and she was surprised that even though
most of the stiffness has gone that i was still in pain, when
she examined me she found several pinched muscles in my back so
suggested.... acupuncture ??? always thought it was a load of
long haired hippy bullshit, but went along with it anyway, ended
up lying on the table for 20 minutes with half a dozen needles
shoved into my back and shoulder muscles. cant believe the
difference its made tho, still a wee bit sore in places but
nothing compared to what i was like before, its unreal.
hopefully next week should be my last session, then i can use
shotguns again, just in time for september ;D
now, just need to remember how to actually use one again ::) lol

That's great babby-I had similar experience myself!
I had an accident a few years ago and went to physio a few
times to get movement back I to my shoulder but once I got
movement I stopped-problem with that was for a few years the
pain would come and go in my shoulder to the extent that I was
physically sick with the pain so last winter decided couldn't
stick it and went back to physio! I thought was just damaged and
she wouldn't b able to fix it but after a few sessions I started
to feel easier and then she started the acupuncture!! It
properly helped to the extent that the last time I had it done
she left me with the needles and came back 30 mins later and had
to wake me!!

the female or cycling variety?? ;) lol
stewarty its unbelieveable, ive been throwing heavy pain killers
into me non stop lately but havnt needed them this evening at
all! out of the 6 needles she used only one was uncomfortable,
could feel the muscle throbbing around it, but that seemed to be
the worst spot. going to be sensible and only take the rifle out
this weekend, but im glad im finally seeing the end of this ;D

babby I've had a serious back problem for over 20 years and over
that time i've had several ops and I live on tables and morphine
daily with epidural injections every six months ( i'd an op and
inj 3 weeks ago) I've 3 discs missin at the bottom of my back
and i've problem were my reminin disc's are slowly disolvin like
sugar in water, I used to play golf pretty well and got to a 4
handicap but had to quit 10 years ago, but one of the best
things the hospital's recommended me was a 'Tens Machine' it's
about the size of a mobile phone that you clip to your belt,
it's got wires that have gel pads on the end that you place over
the problem area's of pain, you can control the tens machine by
the settings on it to suit your pain relief, its the best thing
I've ever used for pain relief and muscle spasms, I'd
acupuncture by the gooks and electric acupuncture which was ok
but nothin like the results I got for the ten's machine, they
can be got in boot's chemist for around £40 but the more you
spend on them the more options they give you, they work out a
lot cheaper than physio or acupuncture and you'll always have
it, I keep to rechargeable batteries ready at the time for mine
for when I need it, try one and see mate they are the job.

Cheers semi I might look into them, this is the second set of
physio I've had on my shoulders in 4 years. Feeling a hell of
alot better this morning, bit tender but nothing like the pain I
had before!
Na I'm going for blonde this time brendy lol
