pigeons

Hi folks,
Anybody having any joy on the pigeons?
The barley fields I have permission on have not been cut yet and
it's starting to do my head in ???

Had a few dcent evenings 20+ 30+ 40+ bags. also had a few that
where a dead loss last night being one.
Waiting on a few fields I shot 300 odd over last year.

there still as patchy as hell well around here anyway. people
seem to be getting betr results at night from what im hearing
anyways

I shot a cut field on Saturday am picked up 143 crow and 70
pigeon and I shot a cut field yesterday pm and picked up 74 crow
and 17 woodie.

It's hit and miss on Saturday am the field I was in was the only
one in the area cut but yesterday there was a barley field cut
across the road and a silage field cut behind me. The barley
field across the road had cows in it and was full off crows but
the cows would never have give you peace but it was a good
enough bag anyway.

I'm always happy to take someone out yesterday I ended up
shooting on my own. I'm maybe a bit far for you to travel
Saturday morning we where looking out off the hide before 5.30
am

as long as he can sit on his arse he'll not mind traveling lol.
ah the crows can be a bit of a pain when trying for pigeons but
it dosnt stop me from throwing out the crow decoys aswell lol

I always set out for both if I'm in the hide looking out to my
front left I set up a rotor with 2 pigeon on it then decoys
behind that then to the front right off the hide I have a rotor
with 2 crows on it then the decoys behind it to soot the wind.
Some days it's good some days it not but that's shooting!!
