As above.
Can anyone reccommend a GOOD smith? I know of 1 or 2 down south
but there is bound to be someone up here. It will be for
re-crowning etc.
Cheers

Gordon couldn't fix the firing pin in my Lanber. He done a
terrible job and passed it off as ok to use. Charged me £30 for
the priviledge. The gun was the same if not worse than before it
went in. Maybe some people have had good experiences with his
workmanship, but my experience was somewhat disappointing.

I suppose there has to be an exception to the rule Dan, I've
never heard of any complaints about him before but I take your
word for it, I'm sure it happens that someone get a bad job
sometime. U.Quinn from Dungannon direction has a brother who's a
time served gunsmith although I'd a bad experience with him
lightenin the trigger on a Benelli semi auto, he made it fully
automatic and I'd to buy a new hammer for it but luckily I
worked in the trade at the time so the part was cheap enough
from GMK .

Not sure of this guys name but I am nearly sure that their is a
gunsmith in Ardbo County Tyrone. Im nearly sure he owns a
gunshop. Anyone from that direction confirm his name. SemiAuto
who did you work for, was it a gun shop. I would love a job in
the industry.

Declan Scullion has a gun shop in Ardbo but I don't think that
boy Quinn is too far for him either, I was with Beattie in
Dungannon for a while and another place before that.

I think it is Declan Scullion. I was never in beatties I called
down a few Saturdays and he was closed. I think I seen his stall
at the gamefair in Shane's castle. Does he mainly do clay guns.

I know Declan and I don't think he's a gunsmith but he might
futter about at them -- his place is called Loughshore Shooting
if you want to give him a call, Beattie does mostly clay guns
but he does have others too for game and vermin, he does a good
selection of air riffles too,. he's open 9am to 9pm mon to fri .
