any1 else on lough neagh the day??????

just to see hows you,s got on, it was like sheet of ice :-[
we were set up anall for half 6 dont think we fired a shot till
around 8,till the birds started moving then we got a few birds
plenty of birds about but had no notion of decoying, i think
they were glad of the break from the weather just happy to fly
about and sit out in there hundreds about 6, 700 yrds out. ended
up with 12 and 1 lost. i dropped it and it bounched along the
water shook itself of and started to swim so the dog after it
and he got to bot 2yrds of it, 90yrds out and down it went never
to be seen again
1 gadwall
2 teal
1 redhead
1 golden eye
2 scaup
5 tuffty,s

sounds like a great mornin's shootin, good to hear the Lough is
shootin a bit better, I was talkin to a few boys this week who
said it was poor all week for them, I was talkin to a mate who
shoots around Antrim he was out this mornin and never fired a
shot .

Good shooting Brendy, whats those breed of duck like to eat,
heard the tuffys were....well tough lol, what about the reheads
etc, never see them about my area cause im land locked so to
speak?

i think the redhead is prob the best eating of the divers, good
for a curry monday nites lol and the gadwall similar to a
mallard, but when empting the boat which 1s did my FRIEND???
leave me yeppp the tuffties lol

a was out but there wasnt a bird came ino range all morning very
little birds moving seen a few good flocks of redhead tho

ah all sittn in the middle f..k s... sunning themsleves. we were
leaving in around 12 and we saw hundreds and hundreds flying
really high up to high to have come of the lough and they never
landed as far as i saw. think they might have migratory birds
not sure? any1 else see them

hopefully they are birds arriving in hopefully the cold weather
keeps up and we get a good season
