talk to and give loads of advice and happy to explain things to

The one time I was in this shop was a good experience, but £59
for 500 SK .22lr subsonics is tearing the arse out of it lol.

I wouldnt be to struck on them, they need a calculator to figure
out the best price on a gun. And they think they know a whole
pile but they dont. they were wanting £50 take a friends gun off
their licence and put it onto mine. My local dealer done it for
me for £25 so i try and go to the smaller dealers.

Well ware with the new Browning Jimbo ;D
I always had the impression that McCloys were too "tweedy" for a
boy like me.

Target driven, costly, dodgy advice and too clinical. Its like
walking into a bank, your treated as a 'customer' or a cashcow,
not a friend. Support your local dealer, it'll work out cheaper
in the long run when you build up a relationship.

Thats what I never liked about...<possible blashphemy>
Braddells. Always felt like I was a walking wallet when I went
in there. Fair enough, large city centre shop but they never
really had time for a chat, just enough to count the money and
open the till.

Was in today looking about changing to a 22lr, one thing they
were busy so doing something right, found them to be dead on,
knew their stuff in terms of air rifles and .22lrs, listened in
to others (a bit nosey me) and they were handing out sound
advise in my opinion, which is often wrong....
Some serious nice gear, as well as second hand stuff, can't
really fault them.
