The B.A.S.C. will tell you they stopped the increase in
Firearms Fees. Yet Tommy Mayne told us he would only make a
token gesture as will pay no matter what they put it up to; as
the B.A.S.C. want to get the banded system in and the age for
shotguns. I still say the B.A.S.C. should stand for biggest
amount of shooters. CONNED!!
I will go to the Countryside Alliance.

join SACS - £35 a year and the same insurance structure as the

Come on guys. Basc works hard for anyone who needs there help
(members only). We all know that we will be getting an increase
to our FAC. Nothing in life no is getting cheaper or staying the
same price. We have had it good for a long time and if Tommy
wants to get us something in return for the extra cash then it
has to be classed as a silver lining.
We have the cheapest firearms costs in Europe excluding a few
non important EU country's. we have have a united voice with the
BASC and are telling firearms if you want the extra cash ( and
they will get it no matter what we say) then give us setting in
return. I would urge all shoot ni members to join the BASC and
stand united.

Not even a member but I don't read their website and keep an eye
what's happening BUT I will be joining as I believe in their
goals and I need new insurance can't keep using the home
insurance.

well pay your money to join BASC and if/when your time of need
comes dont be fooled by the bravdo talk tommy gives u in a sales
pitch at gamefairs etc cos when you do ring with a real problem
that needs urgent action then tommy/BASC will run off with
their tail between their legs , although ive critiszied SACS as
well but at least they get a solicitor onto your case straight
away
ps ive a family member who had a issue with a revoked FAC he was
a member of BASC and in his time of need he rang tommy up told
him the crack/reason psni revoked, tommys respone was to laugh
and say sorry son you havent a hope in hell of winning your case
we wont go to court for you as you WILL DEFO NOT WIN and
we(BASC) HAVENT WON ANY CASE IN THE LAST I THINK IT WAS 2 OR 3
YEARS he said with the reasons psni revoked his FAC for so he
said no bother sorry for troubling you and sent in appeal by
himself and 2 weeks later had a letter in saying his appeal was
succesful i also know another man who got a similar story from
tommy and was also told forget it just give it 5 years and
reaply again for your FAC this man took it to a local small
time solicitor who had is FAC back after a week or so after a
few phone calls and letters to psni so thats 2 cases i know
where BASC didnt want to know didnt want to rock the boat and if
these 2 men would of took tommys advice they wouldnt have a FAC
today , yes BASC do good work with certain issues but they are
useless when it comes to fighting for a revoked FAC

Also, if you attempt to make a genuine claim through them for a
shooting accident they try to belittle you and make you feel
that you are in the wrong. Nothing simple about it. They are
slippery operators whose own personal gain comes before the
shooters they are meant to support.
