       Air tank testing

Anyone know of a place that tests dive air tanks in northern
ireland. Preferably County Antrim. I have an old fire service
tank that ive been using this couple of years. Its getting low
on pressure and I need it filled but its out of test.

Hi Woodcock. The only ones i have ever used for testing and
filling is Breda diving in Belfast. Or there is 1 in Newtownards
called Dv diving. I know they arnt on your doorstep though.
Ill have a look about and try and find somewhere closer to ya.

Thanks for that snap. Breda diving wouldnt be too far away if
theres none closer. Im only getting about 130 bar now which only
does half a dozen shots at a time.

130 bar? U should maybe look out for a 232 bar cylinder or a
300bar. Do u do much shooting with the air rifle??

Sorry for the confusion. It is a 232bar tank but I have used the
air so that it is now down to approx 130. I dont do much no but
when I do get the chance I really enjoy it. Ive been shooting
rats for a local farmer a couple of evening in the past week.
Great fun and helping him out too. Normally shoot roosting
       pigeons or rabbits just.

       Hi woodcock1
You can get it tested and filled in aquaholicks in colraine or I
think the jungle in moneymore can fill them. Ring first but I
know the owner and they use air for the paint guns.

Ment to say in my last post. The last time I went to get mine
tested I was told it was to long out of test and too old as well
so they wouldn't test it. I bought my self one of the hand pumps
instead this time-was cheaper than a bottle and you don't have
to test it or theirs no refilling charge so even tho does
require a bit of working it is a lot cheaper.

Not sure but might have changed as health and safety seams to
rule over all now-plus if the bottle did explode while filling
would b some disaster. It is a bit silly tho cos how often do
       you test a buddy bottle!!
