You wouldn't be able to afford the ammo, and finding somewhere
to shoot it would be a problem. Military ranges or Bisley would
be the only places. The one at Magilligan I don't think would
accept above 338

Magilligan isn't passed for 338 that came from tom in lavin
guns.
Only place is Bisley wish there was somewhere here handy I would
love to get a go a ridiculous distances.
Your man tom at laven guns had a (spelt wrong)>amisty
international sniper rifle for sale last year £6000.

whats ballykinler rated to then? i remember being on the ranges
years ago and seeing snipers training, know they werent using
.50's though

You need a range that is as long as the tha capabilities of
the rifles. I think .
50bmg and .338 lapua have a effective range of 1500 yards.
