My advice would be to steer clear of any barrel mounted
accessories. This bipod would definitely affect barrel
       harmonics, which may effect accuracy.

Depends what your using the .22 for. I have a bipod on mine and
is useful but I don't really use it when hunting. I used to use
it a lot when I had my pickup as took it off road and shot over
the bonnet. If your walking then a bipod only adds wait and you
would be better with shooting sticks.
As for the bipod you showed I wouldn't be a fan of them as they
hold the barrel and leave the stock hanging. You would be better
with one that attaches to the sling hook and supports all.
Bipod's are handy tho when doing maintenance as hold the gun up.
       That's my penny's worth anyways.

never use one that attaches to the barrel, can cause all sorts
of problems with harmonics and accuracy :( heres the type i
       always use

theyre heavier than the normal harris type, but they clip on and
off in a second. dont like having a bipod on when im walking
about the fields, always gets caught in something, so i just
leave it in a pocket, and if i get a shot where i need the bipod
then its simple to snap it on. ive used it on 22lrs, 17hmrs and
air rifles, and ill probly be sticking one on the .222 when i
       pick it up this week

Like the lads say, save ur $ and go for one that you attach
to your stock or stud. Accuracy would be affected with the
       barrell mounted pod. ;)

Yea it's like most things I've bought-tried to save the pennies
and bought the cheaper one then realised it wasn't the job and
bought the dearer one in the end. I have the deben bipod on my
.22 it's like the Harris just a few pounds cheaper!!

itll fit onto any rifle with a sling swivel stud underneath the
forend, if the gun doesnt have a stud fitted theyre only a
couple of £ on ebay, and very easy to fit. heres a few pics of
my guns with those bipods fitted over the years, just to prove
       im not bullshitting lol
