just to see if any lads near the belfast glengormley area fancy
a few days out shooting a bit later in the year. ive about 400
acres of permission at the min but its mainly all rough shooting
with green fields. the odd crop field. not many of my mates are
into shooting or fishing so its a lonely oul sport haha. would
also like to get a night out at the foxes sometime as im looking
a dead fox to show the terrier.

s.a it is a nightmare. i feel wick doing it. and ive had a few
more no's than yes' i left my number with the 2 permissions i
had and the word is slowly spreading. had a farmer ring me up
last week and offer me permission on 80 acres. when i went up it
turns out he owns 580 acres but rents out 500, so im hoping that
in time he will speak to the people he leases to and i get some
more ground. keep at it mate, just go with the thought that the
worst they can do is say no and you never have to see them
again.

Hi,
I'm from glengormley, and only have a shoot permission away far
in tyrone, love to get something close to home, as its not far
past sandyknowes until its green fields, country, stables, stud
farms, and big farms. i have been recently considering
approaching people out around templepatrick to offer services or
ask for permission; I like to get rabbits, foxes etc but will
rat, rodent, pidgeon, crow any shoot if I can help. I have been
thinking recently if I should approach any land owners out
around templepatrick area? Any good shoots in this area?

crops the have had for years for some reason none of them are
growing them this year they just grass seeded , not sure what
the deal is but I'm looking to try further out than Antrim good

techno i hold most of my permission around templepatrick. its
all green fields with very little foxes or rabbits. might be
good for some winter rough shooting. thats why im trying to get
land further out these days . everything close to the towns is
shot out mate

s.a you are right about the crops too. no one is growing them
around templepattrick. the farmers are very very very hard to
get onside too. they just dont seem to trust anyone to shoot on
their land. ive sorta gave it up in that area and am going to
try further out around ballyclare direction.
