       Scope mount trouble ????

       I got my new scope and high mounts, problem is when I put new
       mounts on and tighten they tend to pull the mounts to one side,
       and when I put the level on its way of.... Must they be level??
       And how do I sort this cheers

       Ok I got the gun levelled , then set scope on the mounts and
       also levelled it ,, mounts still not great but anyway everything
       is level BUT I don't think looking through the scope the
       crosshairs look plum

       The mounts will probably have a dovetail for rimfire and air
       rifle. Make sure you have the correct dovetail selected. As for
       the scope looking level, it's important to get it just right
       otherwise your shots will seem to veer off at distance. Some
       people use plumb bobs to check that the crosshairs are level.
       There are loads of vids on youtube about how to make sure they
       are just right.

       I seen the plumb line being used mate I think I'm going to try
       that coz something it's up lol
