i seen this strain just two weeks ago, to me they loo like a
reeves crossed with a commn ring neck, i noticed the ones i seen
had elongated beaks, which may make them prone to picking, but
the ones i seen were bited!!

come to think of it as you say this one has a very long & over
hooked top part of his beak, so you could be right, I think I'll
google a bit to see what I can find

lads its definitely a Michigan blue back, one of the wildest
fastest flying pheasants about!!!!
the reeves cross is a great bird too but are spoilt by the white
band on their heads, but they can grow in excess of 80 inches so
its a small price too pay.
