Pellet weights?

Anyone got any data on pellet weights?
One for a .22 eley wasp would be handy, got a new air rifle and
was looking to chrono it.

I think they are about 14 gn. If your handy I have a set of
pellet scales u can use.

I forgot my brother has a set of micro scales, i'll use them to
get the weights

Eley Wasps are 14.6gns.
If you want to work out your muzzle energy use the following
formula:
(fpsxfps) x pellet weight in grains / 450240
Also, be aware that there are two different types of Wasps. The
ones in the blue tin are 5.6mm diameter and the ones with the
lilac lid are 5.5mm.
There are much better pellets nowadays though than wasps. Most
European barrels (Anscutz, Walther etc.) will normally work
better with the smaller 5.5mm pellet. JSBs or Crosman pellets
are both worth a try.
