Hello my fellow sheeptaggers from around the world.
Currently Clan Behh's and Clan CsB's, the only living clans of
sheeptag, chat channels are being spammed and the channels are
usually closed. This is posing a problem for the community as
any players who do come back are struggling to find where
everybody is and what their account names are. Do not fear, we
have a plan.
What is eurobattlenet?
Eurobattle.net also known as 'XPAM' is world's largest Warcraft
III PvPGN server. From ladder to low/high skilled DotA leagues
and tournaments, every player finds a suitable place. It is a
free server that allows you to play Warcraft in Battle.net -like
environment.
It is basically a private realm (just like Azeroth and
Northrend) it has ladder, custom games, chat channels, clans
etc.. The only big difference is that people from all over the
world use it so it averages about 600 players online and about
250 games, that is AVERAGE, at peak times I have seen
[glow=red,2,300]900 online and 400 games.[/glow]
How do I get onto eurobattlenet?
It is pretty basic just follow the instructions from this link:

But how can we use hostbots and chatbots if we are on a private
server?
Hostbots are able to host on eurobattlenet at the same time as
hosting on all other servers. Chatbots such as Topaz, Osiris and
Stealthbot all work on this PvPGN server. It is exactly like
being back on any BNet realm.
Why is this a good plan?
I am posting this an idea not to necessarily revive sheeptag,
that is not going to be an easy job. But for now I think we
should all be playing in the same place. I have worked closely
with [glow=red,2,300]CandyManKiller[/glow] to try and create
somewhere we can all chat, play and enjoy this game together.
CMK has provided us with a hostbot which is **** amazing, I have
[glow=red,2,300]0 delay[/glow] playing from Houston, TX and
players such as Nightmare[behh] and A_Polar[behh] can vouch that
it is incredible. We have made a clan on eurobattlenet.
[glow=red,2,300]Clan sT - SheepTag[/glow], this will the channel
where we can all meet, play games together, all the time.

What do we want you to do?
If you still have Warcraft 3 TFT, I urge you to get onto
eurobattlenet and come check out Clan sT. We are small right now
but we hope that old players who have given up hope will come
back, players who still lurk on warcraft playing custom games
will come over and hopefully - we might be able to find some
more people to start playing sheep tag on this server. Games
like Legion TD and Footmen Frenzy are extremely popular games
and I think some of them might start playing sheep tag one day,
you never know.
[glow=red,2,300]I believe Saturday is sheeptag day[/glow]? So we
will all be in Clan sT runtagging and diagonal mirror jumping
and what not. If you are seriously against this for whatever
reason don't worry about it you can still join the games from
any server but you can sit in a channel by yourself :)
The future
We hope that all of you will come join us, I miss this community
and I promise it will be lots of fun :) We will be safe from the
spammers here, we will be safe from inter-clan drama, we can
just gather, flame eachother and play.
Perhaps if we can attract a decent number of you over here we
will be able to communicate with Gosu/Chakra/Beer/Wrda,
whoever... Attempt to make a map we could public host and enjoy
playing ST even with new players, maybe even make a map designed
for new players. But thats all in the future, for now...

EDIT: This is just an idea that a few of us have put into
motion, if anybody has any comments, suggestions or straight up
better ideas please let us know.

[glow=red,2,300]I URGE ANYONE AND EVERYONE TO BOYCOTT THIS IDEA
RIGHT NOW, TAKE A LOOK AT THAT SCREENSHOT. A POLAR, CMK AND
NIGHT ARE SHAMAN OF THIS CLAN! This is a hitler fest waiting to
happen! Remember why sheep tag died in the first place? Polar,
cmk jean mii and baiten killed it by kicking and banning kids
that they didn't like when our community was so few. This was
the sole reason celestial_one (a highly respected intelligent
east player) left. [/glow]

as most of you will know I've only been back a week I have no
idea what HaWky's is talking about.
CMK was active so he helped me get onto eurobattlenet, get a
hostbot and make a clan. Seems to me he's helping sheep tag..
Just FYI the [glow=red,2,300]clans on eurobattlenet can have as
many shamans[/glow] as you want.

As someone who never plays I can tell you everyone has been
complaining about Polar abusing forever and how CMK just lets it
happen. Jean is also complained about.

Polar agreed not to ban anyone unless they are ruining games.
Besides, if he starts abusing his powers , he can be demoted any
time. Remember, this is a fresh start and hopefully people will
realize that and put all disagreements to rest.
On the other note, the realm is amazing because the hostbot has
0 delay even for easties/westies. This means that it will be a
much better experience for everyone playing sheeptag than it was
on battle net. Besides the fact that there are no spambots means
that the channel can be open 24/7 and old people and new people
coming don't need to worry about closed channels.
I highly encourage everyone to consider this proposal or at
least try to play on the new realm and see how it goes.

I felt a spark of motiviation to do something when I saw your
post Lovee. Since you yourself are trustworthy in my eyes.
However, you have aligned yourself with the people who single
handedly are responsible for the death of European Sheep Tag.
Through blatant abuse and inaction these people have caused the
depletion of the entire ST userbase to the point where we have
5-10 people playing the game.
To give you some perspective. 1-2 years ago we had 40-50 people
playing the game. Now we have 5.
I personally can't invest time/energy in something that
inevitable is doomed to fail anyway.
These people have shown their true colors over the past 10 years
of Sheep Tag. Do you really think they will change now?
PS. The idea of this realm seems good. Why do you need shamans?
Put a bot in charge, and eliminate the issues our community had
for the last 10 years due to abusive people.

I refuse to join a clan where cmk and polar have any power. Give
trollpro chief and get away shamans and I will be first to
embrace this new idea.

I think, that everyone deserves a chance to play st.
Some people are not wanting to play on Cmk's bot.
I am getting a bot this weekend. I will set it up with Exa's
help.
Secondly. Everyone get's a chance to be admin on my bot and to
host games with.
The goal is to have a bot, that we can play on (everyone)
without any bullshit.
If people ruin, then i decide how punishment work and only i
will decide what happen's, not anyone else.
Are you willing to give it a chance?
Let's sheeptag? :)

We should consider, to check it out and watch how it will work.

^^^ I agree 100%. Trollpro is neutral and is respected by pretty
much everyone. We will never accept polar or cmk as our shamans!

Im down to vote for the shamans of the clan(if that has any
meaning to it) to avoid further division. Besides if there is
any abuse of power, the people will start to leave the clan(as
it was done before so many times).
The reason why we play on cmk bot(which he invested a lot of
time to set up on a new realm) is because it is the best for
everyone involved. As it was mentioned before, Lovee had 0 delay
on the bot even though he lives in Texas.
And lastly, i suggest everyone to give this a try and see how it
goes. If it goes downhill, theres always an option to just leave
and return to normal battle net.
