       STWC2014 Bracket stage

       Hello fellow Sheeptaggers,
       As of this moment we have 6 teams signed up for the Sheep Tag
       World Cup

       There are 4 styles of Brackets to choose from:
       - Round Robin
       - Single / Double Elimination
       - SWISS
       Each tournament style has its own advantages and disadvantages:
       Round Robin

       Advantages
       All teams/players play each other
       True results
       Seeding is not important
       No one is eliminated
       Disadvantages
       Requires many games
       Many games will not be close
       Very long tournament
       No climax final
       Single Elimination:
       Advantages
       Easiest to understand and run
       Good for large numbers
       Doesn't take too long
       Disadvantages
       Seeding is very important
       If you lose one game you are out of the tournament
       The 2 best teams might start out against eachother / Random
       results
       Double Elimination:
       [Compared to Single Elimination]
       Advantages
       If you lose the first game you can still be in the finals.
       Seeding is little less important
       Less chance of random results
       Disadvantages
       Takes a little longer
       SWISS

       Advantages
       Takes way less time than Round Robin.

       Seeding is not important
       No one is eliminated
       Disadvantages
       Many games will not be close

       If there are enough teams we can also mix too brackets together
       like in 2008 & 2009, they had 8 teams in Round Robin -> first 4
       teams go to Single Elim Bracket.

       I think that like in 2008 is the best way to do it or using
       SWISS instead of Round Robin, so the qualifiers don't take too
       long?
       Dates
       How shall we handle the games? In round robin everyone can play
       each other whenever they want or a set date?
       Same for the final bracket ( single / double elim )?
       What are your opinions?

       no but rly, is there an option that includes a climax? Gotta
       climax or it's just not as fun

       You can always combine two formats so teams will fight eachother
       and then the top 4 will go to a single elimination bracket, so
       you'll have a climax :)
