How to fix STC's cancer

Yo.
We all know it or are too ignorant to see it, but Sheep Tag is
dying and so is the Sheep Tag Community.
This topic is not meant to bash on certain clans or people, but
instead on how to cure the disease that haunts our community.
I created Clan oSaS to recruit as many people as possible to
Sheep Tag and this is working, but is not going as fast as I had
hoped.
So what are the current issues?
- Very few games being hosted / almost never full house parties
- Banning and kicking from games
- Inactivity on Hardfarm.tk forums on ST related discussions (
Why is there no STWC for example )
- ( Reply for more issues and I'll update )
How do we fix these issues?
Auto-hostbots on TFT and ROC:
If there are auto-hostbots the game will be playable all the
time and will be visible to many more people, this increases
the chances of new people joining our clans and community, plus
if STC members want to join a public game and have
loads of fun they won't have to create a new game, but can just
join the existing one.
Public STC Meetings on Teamspeak / vent or w.e:
Have monthly meeting to discuss how everything is going is I
believe the first serious step we can make. Issues and
solutions will be brought up in these meetings. We discuss the
current state of STC and the future. This also makes us
communicate more with each other and we can also make minutes of
the meetings so that those who cannot be there at
that moment still know what is up. Everyone is welcome to join
these meetings and participate in the conversation.
Top dog STC Meetings on Teamspeak / vent or w.e.:
These meetings will be only with the Top dogs of the STC and
Clan Leaders such as Shoop, Sidey, Candymankiller, Chakra etc.
These meetings will focus on the problems being brought up
during the Public STC Meetings and how to fix them together.
Leave a reply below and explain your thoughts, problems and
solutions.
TLDR: We need to FIX STC before it's too late, it's time to take
things seriously.

I agree, Although I am not sure what some like me could do (I am
only 1 person). If anyone gets a auto host bot I will gladly
join public games.
And by showing the pubs how you play (properly and not die, or
as wolf how to kill sheep with teamwork or skill) and eventually
if OTHERS helped me we could potentially get the activity
higher. Also if we can get old players to come back who are
just talking on forum that would help. Once this is
accomplished and we have atleast 25 active players who are
decent. Some one who is actually intelligent and organized can
then create Tournaments. Again as long as people are connected
to the forums and watching and activity posting we could
assemble teams and play a tournament. By doing this it will
bring more players as well. Also while in public sheep tag games
you have to let the new players understand what kind of game
this really is and how its competitive. Good luck i'm in support
now just get it going.
Now stop being crabs and hiding. We CAN do this it takes all of
us though to accomplish such a goal.

This is what you both (and most of the rest of you) wanted. You
both went to CsB's forum ONLY because they couldn't handle
debate, questioning, and an open market of ideas. Thereby you
helped split the community and you supported a forum that was
doomed to die from the get-go since no one on that forum GIVES A
FUCK about post quality or more or less anything. This is your
doing. You also resorted to licking CsB ass instead of fighting
for fair games.
Now no one wants to play. Most of all people like me and other
legends don't play. Why would we? We'd get banned for flaming
polar or baiten while they are free to do the same to us without
consequence. If you want to change things you should start by
not accepting this behavior and not contributing to it
yourselves.
No one that has the capacity to host a tournament or anything
similar GIVES A FUCK because you've given people like polar and
cmk complete control to do anything. No one can play games today
without being their slaves. Why would I then care to host a
tournament? You're left with CsB to host tournaments - good luck
with that it will never happen, most of them don't even show up
to my past tournaments.
Enough blaming. Start by getting alternative bots so that people
like me don't get banned for calling polar a retarded idiotic
toiletbrain. Remove CsB's monopoly instead of contributing to it
- drain their power by creating alternatives.

I did not have a problem with handling debates or open market
ideas, I only created an CsB forum account. I never stopped
checking Hardfarm.tk forums every 30 minutes. And the Debates
you are talking about are the ones I don't care about (
political ), there were no Sheep Tag related discussions in the
last months.

oSaS has 2 hostbots that work just fine and stop turning this
all on us Sidey. I haven't seen you or anyone else do anything
aside from saying CsB is ruining everything. No I do not support
CsB's ideas and I do think they are banning alot of people
without reason and they should stop doing this.
Also you are still not helping, all you do is talking de talk.
Man the fck up and do something.
Stay on Topic and stop the flaming and blaming each other and do
something yourselves.

That's funny Sidey, considering you are doing the exact same
thing yourself. Trying to shift power from CsB (who apparently
are idiotic hitlers) to the most destructive force in the entire
community (Shoop) a man who hasn't made a rational decision in
his entire life and bases everything he does on emotions.
Why should I play Sheep Tag when I know I can at any point be
kicked by Shoop because he's mad? He kicked me from an OFFICIAL
VERSUS GAME because I FLAMED HIM. HOLY FUCK!

Why should I give a SHIT about anyone who claims CsB did that or
that when the only thing you're doing yourself is asslicking a
even bigger threat to the community because you're too scared to
stand up for yourself against the people who are supposedly
destroying everything.
Nobody is coming back to Sheep Tag, nobody is gonna choose Sheep
Tag over dota 2 or any other game. Noone thats fun and
charismatic will ever come back. You all doomed the community
with your idiotic decisions.

To resort to the classical blamegame have been a classic
starting- and endpoint for most discussions about what to do to
improve the community throughout its history. It is not enough
and the mainproblem isnt to identify who is to blame for what
and so on.
What we should discuss and what we need to do in order to
improve what we can improve is actual solutions. What do we need
and how do we get there?
I think we need a common forum mildly restricted so that
everyone feels free to express their opinions but spam still get
sorted out.
We also need a common channel for chat and for gaming. This
channel cannot be controlled by a doctrine of abuse, it must
offer other solutions to spam other than to make it private and
shut non clan people out. It needs hostbot, it needs people who
chat and it needs shamans who can controll the environment in a
similar way as I mentioned for the forum.
It needs to be free for everyone to chat, to a big extent to
flame but still free from spam.
Do anyone disagree to this?

keke i will diagnose the problem and how to fix it.
1. [kicking / banning] I cant tell u how many players quit
because of being kicked / banned by pricks like polar. The only
way to ensure a FAIR GAME is to have someone neutral host. For
example my bot, i am not saying my bot is the solution but there
is only 1 BAN ON MY BOT!! (a_polar[behh]) no one else is banned
or will be banned. We need to create a FAIR SYSTEM so no one
feels overpowered. CsB is not this power though, they are well
known to be called hitlers and even kick / ban people who call
them hitlers. CsB fights the OVERWHELMING MAJORITY of lone wolf
sheep taggers that say csb acts like hitlers. Why you might ask?
Simple, a bunch of power hungry idiots run the bots and abuse
there position as "leaders."
-How would we achieve this? a. Get a good FAIR bot, with neutral
members that do not hitler. Such as:
Neppy/namikazeminato/sexytrixywolf/trollpro/NMCDO/traxxwolf/celestial_one/Master[StH]
ect.
b. Create a fair game that consists of no bans (if player ruins
the game just don't let him back in the next game and clean his
slate after he missed a game.
c. Flaming must be allowed! Although not preferred, flaming is
free speech and is okay in my book (as long as you dont cause
someone like shoop to throw a temper tantrum and kick)
2. [Importance of public games / channels] Public games is how
we recruit new people and wean them over to sheep tag revo,
although it is considerably more difficult because ****s in csb
or general sheep taggers flame / kick someone who is new. Now
for channels, there should be a variety of sheep tag channels
because it enforces friction to be "top dog" but the channels
should all be friendly and reasonably well linked.
-How would we achieve this? Get a bot to host public sheep tag
(with someone who likes public st and is willing to recruit
people, the people recruited should also be trained but that
doesn't have to be the case.
[How to benefit the community] Here are some steps you can take
to surely benefit the community.
1. Join a sheep tag clan
2. play sheep tag actively, you do matter!
3. play public games and teach new players.
4. Get a bot if possible and give whoever you think is willing
and not a hitler (a_polar[behh] doesn't qualify.)
5. establish a good relationship with other players and be open
to runtag games.
6. participate in conversation.
7. bring back an old player!
8. try to be a decent player, not meaning skill but try being
nice to people and help whenever you can (whether it is helping
someone with a wc3 issue or something along those lines.
9. Hate on a polar as he is a plague to the sheep tag community
and does nothing but bad things.
10. Create new and exciting maps for people to play so sheep tag
stays fresh...
I believe there will come a time where sheep tag will again be
an active community and flourish in prosper!
