Tablet [VS] Laptop

1) Which is better, tablet or laptop (and why)?
2) if tablet, which brand/model are dominating (IE what do you
recommend that i get)?
i already have a laptop, so I was thinking about getting a
tablet. but then i thought about whether it would be better to
just get a new laptop, or perhaps not buy anything, and use cash
on some other toys.
the tablet impression i got atm is, relative to laptops;
tablet pros: more battery, easier to carry/hold/travel with.
tablet cons: trashcan for typing, less power/processor,
smaller/worse screens, insane low storage
i got some ideas about how to solve a few of the tablet cons,
but it might not be worth it if it costs too much without
offering enough in return. any help?

Asus Transformer? It's as powerful as a laptop, has all the
laptop features ONLY! It's also a tablet.

Tablets are st00pid as fuck. Who fuck cares about battery life?
Maybe it's slightly better than laptop to like watch movies in
bed, but I doubt it b.c you'd have to hold tablet up whole time.
And not playing games / and everything being extra difficult to
do with touchpad. Touchpads = for turds that don't use
computers and are 50 years old (and/or are girls) or for rich
guys that already got nice computer and dont give a fuck.

asus transformer is a pretty nice one. do you have any idea how
the models rank (from worst/cheapest to best)? and which model
do you think is the best value for the money?
