Clan SoR Changes!

Everyone's been going on about SoR this, SoR that. Lick Shoop,
lick spambotters, lick ghandi, and whoever. Well, let me
announce this; people that say that are chromosome defficient
mongoloids with no better purpose in life than to express their
idiocy through backstabbing, criticizing and general agression
to whatever opposes their self-centered, disgusting egos.
That said, SoR has been criticized a lot lately, not in the
least because of things like shoop, spammers, random invites or
whatever, and therefore I've drafted a plan with a few people.
Because I want SoR to be something better than it is right now.
So! SoR is going to change from what it is right now as of right
now. Here are the things that stay the same as before:
1: We will maintain the SoR principles which mean only
sheeptaggers can join, they can join only once (unless you have
a great good reason) and they have be decent (attitude-wise).
2: The clan will not be ruled by one single person.
3: Adam will maintain shaman status.
As for the changes, which is ofcourse the more interesting part,
they are as follows:
X: Shoop has left clan.
2: Exalius will join the clan.
3: Cow will join the clan.
4: Clan changes will happen through a voting system.
5: I will hold chieftain indefinitely.
6: SoR will become more accesible to people who want to join.
7: Shamans have free right to invite who they want.
8: SoR will hold StBc as a secondary, sister-clan for pubs.
Now, let me elaborate on the changes, since this is a lot to
swallow =)
1/2: Exalius and Cow will join.
I've had a long talk with Exa and Cow (and no, no brainwashing
-.-') and we came to the agreement to make a unified clan with
decent people for sheeptag. Trying to merge parts of the old,
near-dead clans into one, which'll be SoR. Exalius and Cow are
the first to join this initiative, and together we will try to
make this work and create more activity and quality play in
sheeptag.
3: Clan changes happen through voting system.
We had something like this before, but from now on, the voting
system becomes more public and more elaborate. At the start of
the revolution (with this post) I will empower four people to
vote, alongside me, for clan decisions. These four people will
be Adam, Manzzy, Cow and Exa. The first thing I want to put up
for vote is Shoop, but we will further engage that topic
tomorrow. The voting system is simply a 50%+1 sorta thing.
Examples of decisions done by voting:
- Kicking someone from clan.
- Promoting/Demoting shaman ranks.
- Empowering/revoking peoples ability to vote.
- Changing clan policy.
- Discussing community wide-issues (will SoR partake in this or
that action, since we will do things unified, not solo)
To obtain the right to vote within SoR, you have to prove
yourself as a sheeptagger who behaves normally, doesn't have
**** for brains, and wants to try and get SoR off the ground.
The same principles count for becoming shaman, though shaman
roles will be regulated even more tightly.
4: I will hold chieftain indefinitely.
Now this sounds very hitler, but I do this simply because I like
to act as a neutral party and don't let my emotions get in the
way. Besides that, I will have no special powers at all. I will
only hold the responsibility for actions carried out within and
by the clan that have been decided through aforementioned
veto-system.
5: SoR will become more accesible to people that want to join.
We've been slowly loosening up already, and I want to do that
even more. Ofcourse, the basic principles of SoR that were
mentioned at A are still in effect, and those will be the basis
on which people get invited.
6: Shamans can invite anyone.
Shamans/Chieftain are empowered to invite who they like, but
they get picked on their ability to reason who should be in or
out of SoR. This means that the shaman tier, who are somewhat
representatives chosen by the voters, will be regulated. They
get democraticly chosen by those people who have votes, and
therefore people who do not get a majority in votes will simply
not become shaman.
7: StBc is a sister-clan to SoR for pubs.
Though right now this is at a very early stage (only 4 pubs in),
StBc will become the side-project of SoR. When we recruit new
pubs and play with them, they will join StBc. Eventually, if
they've improved enough, they will become subject to a test by
myself to enter SoR. The replay is then put up on forums, and
voters can decide whether he/she is allowed in SoR itself.
The ultimate goal of this is to unite the sheeptag community
again, get a decent clan going with reasonable people, and, in
some ways oppose CSB. We need to restore the powerbalance some,
because this is hardly healthy.
This is a lot to swallow for sure, and if there's any questions,
feel free to ask. Up until that time, I sincerely hope this will
work, and that the community itself benefits from this.

I look forward to the changes and I hope we can collaborate on
teaching pubs ect. I have 4 that want to play but haven't had
the opportunity.

I see this plan of action falling through rather quickly, but

I'm fine with you joining if your attitude is up for the job TPT
=)
As for the StBc, perhaps we can merge the two Hawkys? Would
atleast create a bigger clan which motivates the pubs more. And
spoofy, yea, it's a dificult thing to manage, not to mention SoR
itself, but let's try it out =)

I'm not able to play alot, but im active forum user and I think
I can spread word of love in STC :) I will try my best get
newbies in STC.
My work in STC is make people flame less and act more wisely :)

StBc? lol cmk ^^ your CsB2 idea has been stolen.
Best of luck for all your new decisions.
Though it would be good if you stopped trashtalking CsB in
almost every post.
Don't forget what we have done for you before the betrayal.
